Marlon Bailey, Coach Coordinator
The game of basketball has been part of my life for over 30 years. During my senior year at O'Dea High School in Seattle, my team placed third in the state tournament. After high school I played basketball locally at Edmonds Community College for two years. I played professionally for the International Basketball League for six years and competitively with Northwest Sports. Northwest Sports helps prepare Division I NCAA college and university teams prepare for their coming season. For the past eight years I have also been a part of the WNBA Seattle Storm practice squad. I have been the head coach for the girls JV and assistant coach of girls Varsity teams at Summit and Franklin High Schools. I've always loved teaching the game of basketball so the transition from player to coach was very easy for me.

"How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal, and you have to be willing to work." -Jim Valvano, college basketball coach and broadcaster

"If we can come out every practice and every game, learning something that we did well or that we did poorly, we can go from there -Gregg Popovich, San Antonio Spurs Head Coach
